OMG I need book 2 right now The plot and world building was amazing Where can you go wrong with DRAGONS who turn into hot men And the dragon Council with the Court and all made for a very interesting backdrop Although I am still a little confused, are wild dragons wild people Or dragons who never turn into people Marina for me wavered between really brave to really annoying She seemed to throw a lot of temper tantrums and be a complete flirt which bothered me a bit She was supposed to be a bit on the mature side 21 but was absolutely clueless as to what her love, Koen, was feeling Actions he took for her, had clear motives to the reader, but Marina couldn t see the sacrifics he was making for her through her thick head I loved the POV of Koen and Daniil though and thought it really added to the plot to see what went on from their perspectives Although, I hope the love triangle completely dissipates, love triangles between best friends is super annoying and to me, unrealistic and weak minded Also there was some major insta love happening I have no problem with this I think insta love is romantic but if you have a problem with fast love, then you are not going to like reading this book It also reminded me a bit of Tiger s Curse, but better bec...

Okay this was a horrible read if you were to judge by the amount of missing words, missing letters, misspelled words, misplaced words, and grammatical errors This book was filled with them It was disturbing. The beginning of the story really didn t make any sense In fact, it never actually cleared that up It was just kind of like slams you into the middle of a bunch of shit and doesn t explain it fully But it s like, if the book moves on fast enough, maybe the reader will forget all about that It explains the reason why Koen was there in the first placebut it doesn t explain Marina s actions and lack of reactions.Marina is a piece of workI give her that I liked her in the beginning, but as the story progressed I no longer found her endearing or empowered I found her to be obnoxious, disrespectful, over confident and I thought she brought shame on women everywhere.Although, the rock scene was pretty awesome I rather enjoyed that. The way she reacted to meeting her father was uncalled forI was shocked by the arrogance of her Especially when it came to dealing with the dragon culture Her personality clashed with itself often She seemed like a tornadocompletely unpredictable Because you never knew when she was going to act like a normal person, or lose her mind over nothing And I suppose that was supposed to reflect her being dragon like, but really it wasn t humbling Her temper tantrums reminded me of my toddler And it left me wondering how...

I chose to read Smolder after I had red Venomous.I loved the authors voice and style and hoped for another breathtaking journey.I know it is unfair to compare two different stories but that is the way I usually choose my next read.I like a book not read next of authors work.So Smolder.I got plunged in a story that is nothing alike Venomous. They are so different in writing style that if I didn t know,I would have never guessed they are by the same author. The huge mammoth problem that nobody can miss is an absolute lack of editing.Spelling and grammar mistakes are screaming.Think every second sentences is misspelled.Author constantly can t decide the point of view she is writing from so even in the same sentences it can switch from the third person telling story to the first persons point of view.It is confusing at best and takes several tries to sometimes understand the meaning.Author forgets the people participating in dialogue and switches them around unceremoniously Daniil becomes Nikolai in the middle of dialogue and then switches back.It is ridiculous....

oh penelope its an on going love affair with your books. why do you beat me so boldly and then let me heal to only be beaten again its like gringer bread crumbs Always so full of detail i know your plotting schemes lol good laugh i know youre up to devilish things with this scenes i can see many tracks now Oh Marina her character is strong yet young, i know she still has lots to learn about love and how you will test her with be the greatest journey she trusts so openning i worry for her Koen, my biggest fear is for him and not marina she would be the one to broke him i feel the need to say that i think koen would be the one to tame marina.Daniil, i love the helping friend he is but i dont want him to get in the way of koen i feel that koen is given the lesser hand those are the 3 main characters, yet as you read on, characters are added and you have to watch and see what happen...

Oi Penelope I have a headache from the tons of spelling, grammatical, and writing and writing errors done on purpose, its done in this book several times I can usually ignore small typos but the errors in this book were distracting I had to re read passages and sometimes it took a moment to figure out she meant past and not really passed I got the book for free so I know I must sound ungrateful, but it s frustrating What a shame too because I really got into Marina s story I love the imagination and character s in Penelope s writing, but she needs a better editor proofer, it s way to hard to proof your own work after staring at it for so long, even with spellchecker. All in all, I m ready to find ...

Okay.finished this one in a few short hours Let me start off by saying I am a huge Penelope fan Love her writing and her Rae Wilder Series Since this one is not considered YA I was super excited to read it Anyways on with the review. Its a story about a girl who while confronted with a less than ordinary life, must learn to come to terms with and overcome panic attacks, and of late her mother s death If that isn t enough she stumbles upon not one, but three dragons hot, hot, and did I say hot who inadvertently change her life Trekking to another dimension, finding out she s a princess, entering a battle to secure her position beside the dragon she loves, and meeting her long lost father..that s just the tip of the iceberg Marina is a strong lead, who kicks ass and takes names I immediately fell in love with her snarky attitude and her no holds ...
